Isthmian League Premier Division side Whitehawk FC are looking for their third manager of the campaign after David Altendorff tendered his resignation on Wednesday morning.

The former Lancing manager, who only succeeded Ross McNeilly four weeks ago, informed the club of his decision after they slipped to defeat at Hendon on Tuesday evening.

Former boss Shaun Saunders and Adam Simpson take charge of Saturday’s home game against high flying Folkestone Invicta with fans clamouring for their permanent return across social media.

Currently bottom of the table with only three league wins to their name this season, the Hawks have lost their last five in a row and face an in-form Invicta side tipped for promotion at the beginning at the season.
