Entry Level Bun-desliga. Gareth Spinks goes round Sussex non-league grounds and scores the burgers. Five categories, ten points each, fifty in total. No sponsorship, no free lunches, no mercy.
The table
The table fills up as the reviews land. Nothing has been scored yet this season.
How it is scored
Every burger is marked out of ten in five categories, for a total out of fifty.
- Patty — the actual meat, and whether anyone thought about it
- Bacon — quality, quantity, and whether it is genuinely crisp
- Cheese — proper cheese, properly melted
- Bun — does it survive to the last bite
- Overall — the whole thing, on the day, at that ground
Prices, queues and how long it took are noted in the reviews but do not affect the score. A tenner for something excellent still scores what it deserves.
Got one worth a visit?
If your club does a burger that deserves scoring, say so — on Instagram at @thesnlf_food, or through the contact page. The Bun-desliga runs all season and every ground is fair game.
