Isthmian Premier Division side Bognor Regis Town have appointed Jamie Howell and Michael Birmingham as their joint managers.

Howell arrives back at the club weeks after stepping down as assistant to Robbie Blake, the latter leaving the club after a 7-1 home defeat to Chatham Town.

Like Howell, Birmingham is no stranger to Rocks fans having captained the side during his playing days and arrives at Nyewood Lane on the back of a nine year spell with Horndean FC.

He led the Hampshire outfit to the Wessex League title two seasons ago and leaves the club in 13th position in the South Central Division.

The pair take charge for the first time this coming weekend as the Rocks head north to Potters Bar Town looking to move off the foot of the Premier Division table.
