A new physio service is being launched in the east of the county this summer to try and improve services for those clubs struggling to attract a qualified medical assistant to provide treatment to players across the week

Ellie-Mae Watson has spent the last three seasons as a pitch side physio and was with Southern Combination Division One side Seaford Town last year. This summer she has stepped up a couple of divisions to join the new management team at Isthmian Premier Division Whitehawk but is determined to put something back into the game already.

Ellie is looking for six clubs local to Eastbourne and Seaford with concerns over matchday cover and being able to offer treatment during the week. To be eligible for the offer clubs need to have no physio cover before or during a matchday, or unable to provide treatment during the week and is open to both men and women’s teams.
