Forest Row kept up their impressive start to the season with victory over Crawley Down Gatwick, but were made to work hard for the three points on Monday evening.

In front of a good sized crowd at Three Bridges, Row got off to a fast start with Dan Perry scoring inside the opening ten minutes after two great saves from X. The lead was doubled on 26 minutes, a Curtis Gayler free kick whipped in to find the unmarked head of Joe Stone.

Within five minutes of the second half, Row had a two goal advantage once again, Cam Lawson quickest to the ball and beat Fraser Trigwell for the host’s third goal of the evening.

Three minutes later a quick counter attack from Row led to Perry umarked and slotting home his second of the game and seemingly the points staying with the visitors.
