Southern Combination Premier Division side Loxwood are searching for a new management team after parting company with Harrison Williams on Tuesday.

The Magpies suffered a 6-0 loss to Crowborough Athletic at The Nest on Saturday afternoon, their fourth consecutive defeat having started the season unbeaten in five matches.

The club statement reads ‘Loxwood would like to announce that we have made the difficult decision to part ways with First Team Manager Harrison as we move forward with a new direction and vision for the club.

This choice was not made lightly, as we deeply appreciate Harrison’s dedication, expertise, and commitment during his time with us.

As we begin the search for a permanent replacement, we are pleased to announce that John Penalver will step in as Interim Manager.’

Williams only joined the club in May this year after spells at South Park and Redhill, joined in July by ex-Croydon manager Liam Giles with the pair leading The Magpies to a strong start.

However, Giles left the club at the beginning of last month and Williams departs with Loxwood sitting in 14th place but with much football still to play.
