Southern Combination Premier Division Newhaven head into 2025 looking for a new management team.
The club announced on New Years Eve the resignation of joint managers Sean Breech and Andy Cook after more than ten years at the club.
The pair will take charge for the final time this coming Saturday when promotion chasing Petersfield Town head to Fort Road (ko 3pm).
The Dockers have suffered a catalogue of injury problems including the retirement of long-serving goalkeeper Jake Buss earlier this campaign and unable to field a settled side has seen the club hovering around mid-table for much of the season.
The play-offs are not yet beyond Newhaven with around half the season still to play, but also an opportunity for anyone new to assess where to take the club into 2025/26.
Breech and Cook will be a tough act to follow, numerous top end finishes in the Step 5 division along with delivering cup success along the way, finishing last season 90 minutes away from Isthmian League football for the first time in the club’s history but pipped by Eastbourne Town on the day.
