Eddie French’s side have been in fine form all season and are fully in the thick of the title race after an 8-2 win at the weekend against East Preston.

Lawrence Edwards picked up a valuable 2-0 win at play-off chasing Worthing Utd at the weekend and have seen an upturn in form over the last few weeks to start to move away from the lower end of the table.

Our third winners for December are Southern Combination Division One side Ringmer AFC.

Tommy Haddon’s side opened up the top end of the table with a late winner at the weekend to halt play-off chasing Infinity’s charge.

Our fourth winners for December are Southern Combination Premier Division side Peacehaven & Telscombe.

They came out winners in the Haven derby on Christmas Saturday 4-1 to overtake their coastal rivals and sat pretty in 3rd place going into the New Year.

Of the 293 votes polled the Southern Combination Premier Division side polled 55% of the vote. Ringmer AFC were second with 28%, followed by Billingshurst on 9% and Saltdean Utd on 8%.
