Liam Joyce’s side picked up three valuable points at the weekend as they beat Roffey 2-0 at Steyning to move away from the relegation zone in what’s been a very stop start campaign so far.

Jamie Crellin’s team ended Horsham’s two and a half year grip on the Sussex Transport Senior Cup last Tuesday evening with a 4-1 penalty shoot-out win after the sides were locked in at 1-1 after 90 minutes.

Our third winners for January are Isthmian Premier Division side Burgess Hill Town FC.

Jay Lovett and Gary Mansell’s team kept pace with the play-off places on Saturday afternoon beating Dartford 2-1, one of the sides they’re currently chasing and now sit four points behind them.

Our final winners for January are Isthmian South East Division side Hassocks FC.

James Westlake’s side picked up a valuable three points at Sheppey Utd on Saturday afternoon in their quest to stay in the division.

The Lingers polled 42% of the 256 votes cast. Burgess Hill came second with 27% followed by Three Bridges with 18% and Hassocks with 13%.
