Our first September winners are Isthmian South East Division Broadbridge Heath. The Bears Emirates FA Cup replay win on Tuesday evening at Faversham Town took the club into the 2nd Qualifying Round for the first time in the club’s history.

Ramsgate is the destination for Heath on Saturday 14th September.

Our second September winners are Southern Combination Division One side Mile Oak. Oak were heading for penalties in the Sussex Senior Cup on Wednesday evening against Premier Division Bexhill Utd when Jacob Cooke scored a stoppage time winner to send them through to the Second Round having twice come from behind to equalise.

Our third September winners are Southern Combination Premier Division side Crowborough Athletic. The Crows plundered 11 goals in the last seven days whilst keeping two clean sheets, lethal at one end, tight at the other.

Our final September winners are Southern Combination Premier Division side AFC Varndeanians. The Withdean outfit have won three games in seven days to lift themselves into mid-table, with two of the wins coming away from home.

Monthly winner for September

The monthly winner for September as chosen by our Twitter/X (@thesnlf) followers is Broadbridge Heath FC. Polling 37% of the 185 votes, the Isthmian League South East side have picked up the second monthly award of the season.

AFC Varndeanians FC were second with 25%, Crowborough Athletic FC in third with 19% and Mile Oak FC 4th with 18%.
